Summer is one of the busiest times of year for non-rev travel. More people are flying, flights fill faster, and plans can shift more than once before you actually get where you’re going.

For StaffTraveler members, that usually means one thing, the right load insight matters even more.
Maybe you’re trying to get home after a trip, or you’re connecting through a busy hub, or perhaps you have one flight that keeps the rest of your plans together. That’s exactly where Priority Requests come in.

A Priority Request gives your request extra visibility in the StaffTraveler app, helping it stand out to the community, and during summer, that can be really useful.

FAQs: StaffTraveler Priority Request

What is a Priority Request?

A Priority Request is a StaffTraveler request that receives extra visibility in the app. It is designed for the flights you want to draw more attention to when asking the community for load information.

When should I use one?

Use one when a specific flight is especially important to your plans. That could be a key connection, a flight home, a limited routing option, or a departure that gives your trip the best chance of working.

Can I get Priority Requests for free?

Yes. You can earn Priority Requests through the Points system. Points can be collected by answering requests, inviting friends, and sharing useful tips in the app.

How many Points do I need?

Every 100 Points unlocks 1 Priority Request.

Can I buy Priority Requests?

Yes. Priority Requests can be purchased inside StaffTraveler in packs of 5 or 10.

Do Priority Requests guarantee an answer?

No. A Priority Request gives your request extra visibility, but it does not guarantee that someone will answer or that seats will be available.
