What is the World Airline Road Race?

The World Airline Road Race (WARR) is a unique running event that brings together employees from airlines all over the globe, allowing them to collaborate, compete, and connect in a fun and healthy way. Established in 1986, this race has grown into a beloved tradition, attracting thousands of enthusiastic participants each year.

Key Features of the Event

Global Participation: The WARR hosts employees from airlines worldwide, encouraging a sense of global community amidst friendly competition.
Various Distances: Participants can choose to run 5 kilometers or 10 kilometers. If you want, you can even walk. This inclusivity ensures that runners of all skill levels can participate.
Charitable Causes: Much of the proceeds from the event are directed towards various charitable initiatives.
Celebration of Fun: Beyond the race, the event features a festive atmosphere with activities, networking opportunities, and social gatherings, making it a memorable experience for all.

World Airline Road Race Kloten

This year’s WARR took place in Kloten, Switzerland, bringing together airline employees from around the world for a weekend of fitness, fun, and community. More than 1,000 airline employees participated in the race from over 60+ airlines, celebrating the spirit of teamwork and wellness that defines the aviation industry.

In the lead-up to the event, over 4,000 WARR members saw our logo and marketing messages, helping build excitement and recognition ahead of race day. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the global airline community and share our passion for supporting active, engaged professionals.
