This year, 2025, felt different, in all the right ways. We passed one million users, celebrated our 10th birthday, and shipped our most impactful app update to date. Most importantly, the community kept doing what it did best: helping crew get where they needed to be faster and with less stress.
The milestone that matters: one million of you
One million sounds like a headline, but for a niche, crew-first app, it means something practical: more voices, better odds, and a stronger safety net when plans wobble.
We’ll keep the numbers light, but a few highlights help tell the story:
- Requests answered: 10.000.000
- Busiest route: LAS-LAX, with a total of 8,191 requests.
- New users: 205.000
- Used eSIM data: 350TB
These aren’t trophies. They’re signals of a community that responds quickly, shares what it knows, and makes non-rev life a little calmer.
Ten years young
A decade ago, StaffTraveler started with a simple idea: crew helping crew. Ten years on, that principle hasn’t really changed. We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and how the community has grown alongside us.
When we asked the team what they heard and saw repeatedly this year, the same themes came up again and again, making it home in time for an important celebration, ticking off that trip of a lifetime. Helping out a family member.
A community powered by small, generous acts
It’s easy to frame milestones as a scoreboard. We don’t see them that way. One million people didn’t arrive at once; they arrived one by one, usually because someone they trusted said, “This helps.” Every new person brought their routes, their experience, their questions, and their own moments when they needed a hand.
Maybe you posted a short update from a quiet corner of an airport. Maybe you confirmed a route that saved someone’s evening. All of it counts. All of it compounds.
The most powerful part is how ordinary it looks up close: not grand gestures, just steady help given freely. That’s the culture we want to protect.
