Auckland is gearing up to host the World Airline Road Race (WARR) from October 4-6, 2024, and it’s the perfect chance for you to lace up those running shoes and show off your airline pride. If you’re a fan of the flying life and looking for a fun new challenge, this event is designed just for you.

What’s the Scoop?

WARR is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization with a simple mission: to host a global athletic event that unites airline professionals from around the world. It’s a chance to celebrate our passion for travel, strengthen connections within the airline community, and create lasting friendships and memories.

Why Auckland?

Why not enjoy a stunning city while you run? Auckland, with its beautiful harbor views and vibrant atmosphere, provides the perfect backdrop for this year’s race. Picture yourself running past iconic landmarks and scenic vistas, all while soaking in the Kiwi spirit. It’s an amazing way to explore the city, whether you’re here on a non-rev ticket or just enjoying some well-deserved time off.

Important Registration Details

Make sure to register by 12:00 p.m. on October 1, 2024, because that’s when online registration wraps up. If you’re not working directly for an airline, pick the “NN” option in the drop-down menu when you register. And if you’re booking for family members, just choose the non-airline option for them too.

For the 10K, you need to be 12 years old on race day to join in. If you’re under 18, don’t forget to get a parent or guardian to sign a permission statement for you to participate. Can’t wait to see you there!
